Perhaps many of us has this same problem with ADOFILE print sleeves - they are a little bit too small for traditional inch-sized printing papers.

Do you have any plans to fabricate ADOFILE print sleeves with a little bit larger size? Now there is a problem, that inch-sized printing papers doesn't fit in to the sleeves without a little cutting. Inch sizes of the printing papers are as follows:

- 9,5" ~ 24,1 cm

- 12" ~ 30,5 cm

- 16" ~ 40,6 cm

I measured the pocket inner dimensions of the ADOFILE sleeves as follows:

- 24x30 sleeve (FP124) = 24,3 x 30,5 cm

- 30x40 sleeve (FP130) = 30,3 x 40,6 cm

Both of these are a little too tight for prints. Especially with thick fibre base papers cutting is needed to get the print in to the sleeve without wrinkling of the print. About +5 mm to both dimensions should resolve this problem.

Is it possible to make a new batch of sleeves with a little bit bigger dimensions in the future (when?), or do you have already solved this problem? My present sleeves were bought 2-3 years ago.

How about larger sleeve sizes - do you have any plans to make sleeves also for paper sizes of 40,6 x 50,8 cm and 50,8 x 60,9 cm? Me and presumably also many others will need these bigger sizes.

RTK,

thank you for your post.

Changing the mold is so expensive that current sales unfortunately don?t justify this investment.

Most people don?t mind trimming down their prints a few mm. This also increases flatness of most prints.

But will add this as a comment to our product description. So it is avery good hint made by you.

The complete books (vertical format) we sell very succesfully and here we were able to increase the size in recent years.

Kind regards,

Mirko
Mirko,

Thank you for your response.

Yes, usually a little trimming of print edges will be done, but not always. It's annoying that sleeve and print sizes does not just fit.

How about bigger sleeve sizes for papers of 40,6 x 50,8 cm and 50,8 x 60,9 cm (+ 5mm!); do you have any plans to start production of them?
