Cyanotypien Workshop - buckp74 - 19-01-2016

What's more relevant than "Prussian Blue" Cyanotypes in Berlin? For the first time ever, in order to celebrate this rare pigment, the Central Valley Project is offering a Cyanotype Workshop! "Preussischblau" in German, or "Berliner Blau," is a color almost never occurring normally in nature (bird feathers don't count, their blue irridescence is due to optical physics, not pigmentation), first synthetically created in 1706 by a Swiss immigrant in Berlin. As a photographic medium, Anna Atkins, often considered to be the first recognized female photographer, used the process in the 19th Century to create photogram images of plants.

Limited to 3 people, Saturday, February 27. English und Deutsch. 125 Euros, all supplies included. Contact info@centralvalleyproject.com for more info, or to register.
