HRX2 is not on the market yet. All we know we have heard from Spur.
On our stand @ Photokina he will present pictures and be ready to answer questions.
The old HRX was not perfect for efke. It was a perfect developer for HP5 and similar films.
The new one is better but probably still rather a developer for HP5.
I had not a chance to try this developer yet.
Thus A49 is at this point still my personal developer of choice.
The times in our timetable are a bit too short because we had many people overdeveloping the film.
If you have perfect settings in your studio you can use 5 minutes instead of 3 but best is to make a test first.
I can also recomend R09 because it works sharper and more brilliant (more grain too though).
