And which film is the scratched one?

25 ASA or 100 ASA?

Base side scratches are usually invisible in conventional enlarging and can only be seen if the image is scanned. Micro scratches you will find on any film in this world due to the transport of the film over rolls during production.

This is why claims for this exploded in the late 1990ies when scanners became more popular.

Did you scan with the emulsion side up or down?

Anyway I have to see how bad your scratches are.
