the products currently in project status are papers identical to Agfa MCC/MCP and for next year films identical to Agfa APX films.
The papers are already up for the second stage of testing which will take place in July.
Interested photographers can apply for 5 sheets of free samples if they are willing to provide feedback in return. Applikationen shall be mailed to mccproject(at)fotoimpex.de
As far as other former Agfa papers are concerned it depends on the cost of adapting the formulations to our machinery. If the market shows enough interest we might start a research project and depending on the outcome of the first precipitations we will decide if it is worthwhile to continue or not.
This all depends on the Markes situation as a whole as well.
We are focusing on small scale niche production to secure the existence if high quality monochrom Produkte for the future. We cannot compete in our micro factory with Kodak, Fuji, Ilford, Kentmere or Foma in most cases.
Thus we will only make such products which these companies are not making (anymore) or where we can be competitive due to other reasons.
Forte products will not be remade by us but there are other companies involved in this venture and when they are available again we will certainly distribute these new Forte papers as well.
I don’t think though that graded papers will be remade.
