Mit R3 habe keine Erfahrungen, dafür kann ich NP 1600 wärmstens empfehlen. Er ist insgesamt sehr robust und einfach in der Handhabung. Und der Korn wirkt nicht unangenehm.
Als Objekt finde ich 1.4/50 ideal. Wenn es das gleiche Canon FD-Objektiv ist, das ich habe, ist es für die Art von Fotos die du machen willst perfekt. Du musst halt ein bisschen näher an die Leute dran.
