Hello forum =)
I own an old Meopta Opemus 4. The problem is that the round, frosted glass between the convex lenses and the bulb has broken into two pieces. This glass sits in a round, black holder that is fitted onto the two convex lenses. The light first hits the frosted glass, then the lenses. I think it’s a diffuser that eliminates irregularities in the illumination. I found a helpful, older thread on this here in the forum.
Is there any hope of finding a replacement for this (currently at FOTOIMPEX); or is it very important? I haven’t tried the SW enlarger yet and wanted to ask first. You can see an image and it can be focused, but I think I need to use it properly first to be able to say anything more precise.
In the image, it is number 1 on page 16 in Figure XVII.

I would be very grateful if you could help me.
