Hello everyone, By a happy coincidence, I’ve got my hands on two 30-metre rolls of Agfa APX 400. I’d now like to rewind them myself, which would give me about 17 films per roll. At least, that’s what it says online if you google it. My question is: where can I get these empty film reels? Is there a special device for this, or do I have to wind the whole roll in the darkroom in one go (which is surely the cheaper option)? Does anyone have any experience with this and can tell me if there’s anything I need to watch out for? Many thanks in advance... Kind regards, André

Film loaders for 30-metre rolls and empty film cartridges make working with rolls much easier and are available, for example, from the host’s shop. Best regards, Michael
