Hi everyone,
I’ve owned an Agfa Billy for many years (it’s an heirloom) and I quite enjoy taking photos with it every now and then.
What I’ve always wondered is where exactly the set aperture value is displayed. The aperture lever is relatively flat and wide, with a ribbed section on one side so you can operate it. But where do I actually read the aperture? On the edge of the knurled side? In the middle of the lever? Or on the other edge? Between T16 and T22 (or is it f16 and f22?), that’s a whole stop’s difference after all.
The end stop doesn’t really tell us anything, as it lies well beyond the scale.
Does anyone know for sure?
