...I reckon – assuming it really is Isopan iF – that the base fog isn’t a problem, because the less sensitive the film, the less of an issue the base fog is. I still have 15 rolls of Isopan IF – expiry date Jan. 1978 – which still produce flawless results. Only the speed has suffered somewhat over time – I reckon the film still works at around 25 ASA. Hence my recommendation to develop it for a little longer. Furthermore, the longer development time ensures greater contrast – which is certainly an advantage, at least for films that have been sitting undeveloped in the camera for years...
