Kryschtof Hello, what is the maximum D-value achievable with ADOX Display Film? Do the negatives need to be developed in a specific way (hard, soft?) to produce a good black-and-white slide after transferring them to ADOX Display Film?
MirkoBoeddecker The display film had a standard gradient. Unfortunately, we had to halt production at short notice. As a result, although it is still listed in the catalogue, we are no longer able to produce it. Kind regards, Mirko
Commander8x What formats are still available? And can we expect a new release at some point, or has the film been discontinued for good? Thanks for your replies, Matthias
Kryschtof It’s a shame, though, that the Display film is being discontinued. Having had a think about it, I now reckon the Display film would have been the wrong choice for me anyway. My intended use is to produce slides by copying from a black-and-white negative. I suspect that ADOX Ortho 25 would be better suited to this purpose. Which developer could one use to achieve a gamma of 2 or higher? The developers listed on the ADOX website are presumably not intended for the production of slides. I assume that the film is identical to the Rollei Ortho 25? Best regards, Christof
MirkoBoeddecker I assume this film is the same as Rollei Ortho 25? I wouldn’t assume that as a matter of principle, but there can always be some overlap with individual products. Best regards, Mirko
