Hello everyone, Do any of you happen to know if there are any slide projectors that can project 6x9 slides? I’m only familiar with projectors that go up to 6x7. It needs to be suitable for use in the living room – in other words, I don’t want to show my slides in a cinema, just as a side note. I’d be grateful for any tips you might have. Hello Matthias, Projectors like that did indeed exist, but that was a long time ago and it will be difficult to find a working one now (e.g. because of the lamp). On top of that, there’s the issue of framing, as the largest frames available on the market are, as far as I know, the 85 x 85 mm frames for 6x7 slides. So it’s an interesting challenge. Hello Reinhold, hello Andreas, thanks for the tip about the frames. However, frameless slides are out of the question for this large format. Here, you have to pay meticulous attention to ensuring the slide is perfectly flat, especially if you’re using a high-quality, wide-angle projection lens. The only solution here is the traditional approach: buy glass plates, insert cardboard masks and secure the slide with fabric tape. At the same time, I was active on the large-format forum and a very good discussion ensued.
