Can I assume that the Atomal 49 is identical in construction to the Calbe 49?
Why has it not been possible so far to bring back the original Agfa Atomal formula? This developer seems to me to be ideal for highly sensitive films such as Kodak TMZ. When I compare old results from TMZ in Atomal with current ones in DDX, the old ones seem to have finer grain than the current ones.
Trying to clarify these questions here in a single post would be a rather pointless waste of time. It would be better to use the search function, perhaps supplemented by a phone call to Mirko.
That way, you can get straight to the point and make use of direct sources of information.
Best regards,
Franz (who is now simply too lazy to go back and research the history of an Agfa formula No. 49)
