Hello! I’m fairly new to darkroom work. I’d like to try selenium or sepia toners – for the colour and also for their archival quality. But once the toner has been used, where does it go? What should I do with the old toner?

Here, you can dispose of chemicals up to 5 litres in the hazardous waste collection van. Your local waste disposal service can provide you with further information. Regards, Sven.

I think the real question here is whether the old toner is still usable. Unfortunately, I can’t say for sure. Why not try a test print to see if it still works?
