What’s the latest on Fomapan T200? Has production stopped?
When I click on the film on the Foma website, no information is displayed anymore.
Has the film been discontinued?

Although Foma had informed us as recently as 5 February 2010 that they were working on this issue and expected to have further information by early March, we were told three weeks later that all orders had been cancelled for the time being.
The problem lies with the gelatin and the way the new gelatin affects the film’s digestion and speed.
Foma’s official statement reads:
1) We have not managed to adapt our emulsion to the new gelatin.
2) All orders are hereby cancelled.
The email does NOT state that the film has been discontinued for good, but that is certainly within the realm of possibility at this stage.
Our enquiry regarding this matter has not yet been answered.
