I’m a big fan of ADOX films. As they were out of stock for a while, I switched to Kodak as a substitute.
My standard negative developer for Adox 100 and 50 is ADX A+B, which I’m initially happy with. I wanted to use this to develop the Kodak T-Max400 after the correct exposure time (!) and was a bit surprised that it went completely wrong B), as the negatives were far underdeveloped. Thanks to the high gradient, I was able to get something out of the enlargements, but the results were, of course, rather poor.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I now have five more Kodak films and am considering whether I should just develop them all with the Kodak developer after all – but on the other hand, I’d be interested to know what my mistake was, and besides, I don’t like having too many different chemicals lying about.

Hi Georg,
I develop film regularly, which means I need new developers at least every few months. So it can’t actually be that bad. The last ADOX film was about 2–3 months ago.
