Hi everyone, My Pentacon auto 2.8/29mm is broken. Specifically, the focus mechanism is loose. I reckon that constant vibrations and jolts (I often transport the camera by bike) have caused something to come loose. Can I fix this myself using basic tools (a small screwdriver), or is this a job for a professional repair (though given the cost involved, it probably isn’t worth it anyway). Regards Andreas

Hi Sven, Yes, it’s an M42. What would you want for the lens? I’d still be grateful for any repair tips, though, as the same thing could happen with other M42 lenses. Regards Andreas
