StefanCaspari Hello, everyone! Does anyone here know the old 'Ultrafin SF' from Tetenal? It was a super-fine-grain developer that had to be mixed from two substances (powders). Does anyone know of a suitable developer currently available on the market? It produced a super-fine grain with Agfapan (and also with APX), yet remained relatively sharp. I reckon it could produce some rather interesting results with CHS100. Best regards: Stefan
Gast Hello, Ultrafin SF was a fine-grain developer (not ultra-fine grain) based on phenidone and hydroquinone. Ilford Microphen works in a similar way. A good article on the subject: http://www.phototec.de/sw_magazin/wissen_m...hp3?wissen_id=5 Best regards, Wolfgang
mdeutgen Stefan, I’ve got another parcel; send me a PM – or better still, an email directly to me – with your address, and I’ll get it sent off. Martin
Gast By the way, the ADOX 100 performs very well in Moersch Tanol at 80 ASA. Here: http://www.fotoimpex.de/shop/fotochemie/sc...5-30-filme.html Best regards, Wolfgang

A bit late, but thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for the link. It is an abstract of quite a bit of what I learnt way back when at photography school. Best regards: Stefan
