Hello,
I’ve recently been having a problem with my Praktica VLC2. The light meter is normally activated by pressing the shutter release button lightly. However, with my camera, the light meter is always active, even when the shutter release button isn’t pressed. I therefore suspect that the contact in the shutter release button might be stuck....
Has anyone else experienced these symptoms? I haven’t found anything relevant online and would be grateful for any help.
And while we’re on the subject... Does anyone have a repair manual of sorts for the VLC / LLC models? I’m mainly interested in calibrating the light meter. I’ve found something for the MTL, but the technology seems to be slightly different on the VLC / LLC models.
