Hello, Does anyone know if the Holga lens (the plastic one will do) is available separately or at a lower price? The camera body is pretty much useless. The lens, however, is. I’d like to adapt it for use with other systems. Ideally, of course, it would be great if I could order the lens from a faulty camera with my next Impex order? ;) Perhaps there are faulty returned items? Best regards, Thomas

The body of this camera is pretty much useless.

Unfortunately, I can’t help you with a lens, but I have to disagree that the body doesn’t perform well – it manages things that other cameras fail at. Simple design, ultra-lightweight, few breakable parts, and with a bit of tape it’s light-tight too. You can convert 120 film to 135, and so on :) Just buy the whole camera and you’re sorted ;)

Mine is even light-tight. But what I need are different shutter speeds. I can’t get round that when taking photos. (Otherwise, you’re right.)

Thomas, Kristal Burtrum handles complaints (030 28599473, kristal.burtrum at FOTOIMPEX dot de). Ask her. We have older Holgas with minor flaws or returns, etc. The lens isn’t interchangeable, though. Best regards, Mirko

Hi Mirko, thanks for the tip. I’ll definitely have a go and ask them. I’m aware that the lens is fixed. I already own a Holga, after all. But it takes fewer steps to get to the lens (the one I’m interested in). Thomas
