Hello everyone, can anyone help me out?
Is it allowed to pour used water-accelerating agents (e.g. Kodak HypoClearing Agent or Tetenal Lavaquick) down the drain, or should they be disposed of as chemical waste, just like fixers, developers and the like?
I haven’t found a clear answer anywhere, so I’ve always disposed of it as chemical waste (at my own expense). Can anyone tell me more?

Hello Michael,
It contains either bicarbonate of soda or sodium sulphite (depending on the product). It’s fine to pour it down the drain.
