Hello, Does anyone know of a camera that uses the same bayonet mount with a spring-loaded aperture as the old SAJUT? (There are several names for it) You can’t simply swap the camera’s bayonet mount for the one on the KIEV Even if the cameras look like a KIEV, they have a different bayonet mount and a different aperture mechanism. (except for the SAJUT C) Before taking a photo, the aperture must be set to the working aperture using a lever on the lens. I’m still looking for a 120–150mm lens. Unfortunately, these are very rare. It would be great if I could use lenses from other manufacturers. Below is a scan (to show the scale) of the bayonet mount. Thank you .

Hi Wolfram, I used to have an old Salyut from 1964 as well; back then I had the Industar 29 (80mm, which was very good) and the Mir 3 (65mm, which was absolutely rubbish) for it. I never managed to find any other lenses for it, though I’ve heard there’s also a Tair 33 out there. Thanks, Uwe. But unfortunately, this website isn’t entirely clear when it comes to the bayonet mount. Unfortunately, I don’t speak English and have to rely on Google Translate. The ZENITH lenses might fit... (?) I suppose I’ll end up setting up my KIEV after all. Without a light telephoto lens, I’m stuck. Portraits or still life shots with the 80° lens are no fun. Hi Uwe, I’ve just found a camera on eBay with a list of compatible lenses: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...A:IT&ih=009 It’s actually a very good deal when you consider what the lenses cost individually.... Unfortunately, I still don’t know if there are any compatible third-party lenses. But I’ll keep looking into it. Regards, Wolfram

Hello, I’ve sorted out my problem. I bought a lovely complete set on eBay: eBay It includes a 150 mm lens I’d been searching for, as well as a 250 mm and a 400 mm telephoto lens. The 150 mm is by Kilfitt, made in Germany, and the other two are TELEMEGOR lenses by MEYER-Gölitz. The lenses are custom-made and specially adapted for the Salyut. According to my Google research, they are excellent lenses, each worth up to 500 euros on their own. I’m really looking forward to the first photos. The only thing missing is a 45mm lens..... . I already have the lightweight 65mm wide-angle. Why go to all this trouble? There are plenty of KIEV 88s around. I’ve always been happy with that one too. I just think the SALYUT with the aluminium lenses is more attractive. (More nostalgic?) Besides, the steel gear mechanism is supposed to be much more durable than the brass one in the KIEV. I’ve heard rumours that the lenses from the HASSELBLAD 1000F/1600F are supposed to fit the bayonet mount.... . Can anyone confirm this? Or send me a 1:1 scan of the lens-side bayonet mount?
