As long as the bottle remains unopened, the FX-39 should be perfectly fine, even if it is a while old.
Once opened, it must be protected from oxidation using Protectan or by decanting it, etc.
If well protected and freshly bought, it should remain usable for 12 months – even if opened.
If well protected but older, at least 6–8 weeks.
If unprotected, I would only keep it if freshly bought, and even then for no longer than 8 weeks.

Hello Mirko,
Thank you very much for your advice. I’ve already transferred the liquid into smaller glass bottles and displaced the residual air with Protectan. That should mean there’s nothing standing in the way of me using my FX-39 later this year.
