Hello analogis,
I’m looking for advice on where to get sturdy zero-degree filters for the Durst M 370 BW drawer. The compartment is only 8.5 cm wide at most, so the standard 8.9 cm ones won’t fit. I could use the sheets and cut them to size, but that’s too fiddly for me. Alternatively, I could use the one that screws underneath, but then what’s the point of the drawer?
Does anyone know where I can get hold of some?
Kind regards, Ralf

Hi Ralf,
One reason these things are so big is so that you can cut them to size. That’s actually quite common and doesn’t make them too flimsy.
When handling the filters, though, bear in mind that they don’t like moisture or fingerprints.
As an alternative to the – expensive – screw-in set, you can also remove the red filter from its holder and place the filters on top of it. A larger red filter sheet should also be easy to come by (scrap pieces of red DCfix from the print shop, commercial products). The advantage of the ‘red filter solution’ is that you can safely handle the filters by the edge.
A filter drawer has always had, and still has, only one purpose for me: it’s where a glass neutral density filter might be placed on top of the IR-blocking filter that’s always inside.
Best regards,
Franz
