I found an old brass lens at the flea market that covers a 9x12 format.
It has a focus knob and a segmented aperture ring with settings of 8, 11, 16, 22, 32 and 44 – a standard aperture range.
BUT NO SHUTTER!! – Just a leather cover. That’s fine for wet plates, but what about sheet films?
Does anyone have any idea how I could fit a shutter on it (behind the lens or something)?

At least for Sinar (and compatible models?), there is a rear lens shutter which is fitted behind the front standard and can then be used just like a normal shutter. That would be the best solution.
Otherwise, you could use the cover as a shutter.
