Agora Gallery, New York City, is delighted to announce its 24th International Chelsea Art Competition 2009. Prizes, valued at thirty-eight thousand dollars (€38,000), will be awarded as follows: an exhibition at the Chelsea Art Gallery, cash prizes, online publication and a feature in ARTisSpectrum magazine.
The exhibition will take place in Chelsea, New York City. Half of the prize money will go to the artist and half to the gallery. For charitable purposes, Agora Gallery will donate 25% of its proceeds from the competition to Art Start, an award-winning and nationally recognised programme that helps underprivileged young people and children.
