Hello Mirko, I’ve got the first prints in front of me – really lovely paper, a pleasantly warm tone; you’ve got something really good on offer there. It’s just that the tape you’re using to seal the 40×50 cm packs is no good. It doesn’t stick... With best regards, Warm regards from Fürth Heinrich

Hello Heinrich, That’s certainly nothing new. However, you could get in touch with the Tesa label printing company; they produce these in small batches quite cheaply (seriously: this tip is actually for Mirko!): Ruppmannstr. 43, 70565 Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, T: 0711/7802060 F: 0711/7802071. The managing director there also does analogue/black-and-white photography and has already put on several successful exhibitions. Best regards, Franz (it’s not me!)

Hehe :-) I don’t mind the adhesive tabs at that price ;) I’ve still got some old Agfa boxes; we’ll just repackage the paper. Not that good boxes drive up the price.

Guys, My point wasn’t so much that you can ‘re-box’ things cheaply. It was more that Mirko would get another source of high-quality and equally affordable labels. He should have a go at asking them. Best to ring up and ask Ms Schmucker to put him through to the boss. The boss reads this from time to time without logging in, and I’ve already given him a heads-up. Best regards, Franz

Hello Mirko, and if you could also find a tiny little data sheet to go with the tape, containing details on speed and the achievable contrast ranges,... The data sheet doesn’t need to be included in every box (the tape does). Information available on your website or in the catalogue should suffice. As I posted above, I really like the paper. I’m surprised by the flatness achievable without hot drying. Significantly better than with the good old Polywarmton. Best regards, Heinrich
