Hello!
I’d like to get my Rolleiflex repaired; I suspect the shutter has become sticky. The long exposures are taking much longer than they should.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a reliable repair shop? I found ‘classic-camera’ on Google, but the company is based in Switzerland.

Photo Suffren... but in Paris!

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, I don’t speak French, so if I have to send my camera all the way across Europe, I’ll probably have to use camera-service.ch.
I’ve just had a chat with Mr Fabio from Classic Camera Repair; he made a good first impression. Has anyone had any experience with this repair shop?

Hi Phil,
I’ve already had three Rolleiflex cameras fully serviced at Paepke in Düsseldorf!
The cameras were as good as new afterwards!

Paepke! Set aside 150 euros.

Hello, I have two questions about the Rolleicord Mod. 2:
1. What is the aluminium button behind the distance setting dial for?
2. Should the shutter cocking lever spring back to the release position after cocking?
That’s how I remember it.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards

Hello,
Another question for the experts:
Does the Rolleicord Mod. 2 have an X or M flash socket?
For a flash bulb or an electronic flash?
Thanks.

A late reply, but: Fabio comes highly recommended! As I live nearby, I popped round to see him with an old Asahi-Pentax Spotmatic. He’s got a professional setup and is a real expert (see his website). He’s also a camera historian through and through; you won’t be able to get out of his workshop for at least two hours. It’s a shame, really – you’d have to send the camera in... :-)

I’ll probably be in Switzerland in March. Then I can hand the camera in at a Swiss Post office myself.
Thanks very much for your reply!
I got the same impression as you, even though I’ve only spoken to Fabio on the phone.
