Hello forum,
A friend has given me a set of Ilford Cibachrome filters.
The filters come in various shades of cyan, yellow and magenta.
My question to you is: what can I do with these filters?
Can I also use them to make colour prints with a condenser enlarger?
Best regards,
Johannes
Hello,
The classic Cibachrome filters were designed for Ilford Cibachrome colour paper, which allowed you to make direct prints from slides; in other words, they were only suitable for the positive process, not for negative prints. I don’t know whether Ciba filters were later brought onto the market for the negative process as well, but I don’t really see the point in that.
