What does the back of the Fotoman 4x5" look like? It’s not an international back, is it? Or am I mistaken?
It’s about using roll film magazines. Do the slide-in cassettes work? Probably yes! But the question arises as to whether the transport mechanism and the ‘film magazine’ get in the way of the viewfinder when the camera is held ‘upright’ (unless you can also slide the cassette in from below, in which case it gets in the way of the tripod head on other cameras ;) ).
What about “non-slot-in cassettes” like the Linhof Rollex? Surely they must fit the Grafmatic adapter mentioned in the catalogue. Or am I wrong? How much does this adapter cost?
You can buy replacement viewfinder screens, can’t you? Or? With RF, the viewfinder would need to be fitted with a different (smaller) screen.

Until half an hour ago, I thought these Fotoman cameras were some sort of Impex own-brand product, but then I had a bit of a browse online, found the Fotoman homepage and – and this is where I’m really excited – discovered a camera there that’s essentially exactly what I’ve been looking for for ages. :blink:
Can I also order the cameras and accessories not listed in the Impex catalogue via Impex, or does that mean I’d have to book a ticket to the Middle Kingdom? – The latter would actually be quite something (a friend travelled by train from Berlin to Beijing – exciting! ;) ), but it doesn’t really fit in with my schedule at the moment.
If it were possible to order this super-stylish Shift camera through you, how much would it cost roughly?

Hello CP,
You can roughly calculate the USD price as the retail price in euros (net).
The exchange rate difference covers freight and customs duties (together approx. 30%).
Depending on the dollar exchange rate, we may also reduce the price slightly.
At the moment, we would deduct approx. 10%–15% as the dollar is below 1.30 EUR.
