Hello!
I did actually enquire directly via email at the shop, but as I didn’t receive a reply, here’s my question again:
Where (preferably at FOTOIMPEX, of course) can I find 70mm roll film? It needs to be suitable for Hasselblad backs. I already have the cassettes and the back.
Follow-up question: Can the Hasselblad 70mm backs be adapted to the Kiev 88?
Regards,
Eugen
Hasselblad backs fit Hartblei cameras, e.g. the 1006M, as standard.
Developing 70mm film is now possible using the Paterson System 4 and Jobo 2500 RPS Test Drum 2820 without the special 2517 spiral (220mm length or 172cm). On Rangefinderforum and elsewhere, I (europanorama) have suggested some additions. Work is underway regarding the fixing of the loose upper 2500 spiral. Instead of adding a third one on top, there will be an adapter. 3D-printed. It’s in the works. Holgamods still needs to be contacted. The initiator, Nokton24, should send him the data and spirals. I’ve thought about it. Otherwise, buy two sets of spirals and combine three parts from them. Works perfectly. And they fit into the Testdrum 2820 for 500ml.
There’s also the idea of using rubber at the top to hold the upper spiral in place. It’s all in the article mentioned about 70mm films. There’s also a lot of rambling about development. It’s a right mess; it would be better to split the topics up.
