Hello everyone,
I’ve bought a box of Adox CHS 100 sheet film. In its catalogue, Foto Impex recommends adding a hardener to the fixer when conducting the development of CHS films. I have a feeling that this changes something during the fixing process. Could you shed some light on this for me?

Hi Andreas,
Forget the stop bath; I don’t use it with either the 50 or the 100.
If you’re performing development in a tray, be a bit careful when agitating. If you’re performing development in a canister, be careful when taking the films out of it.
For the developer, I recommend R09, 1:40, 13–14 minutes.
