Hello, Can anyone tell me how to tell if a Seagull 4a is a 107 model? I bought one at auction with the serial number 4a-20841731. I’m not sure if it really is a 107. With the 103 model, you can tell by the serial number. Thanks and best regards, Kai

The 107 was also designated WWSC 120 and has an SA 96 as its lens. My 103 has an SA 85. Regards, Sven.

I believe the latest 4a models (105, 107, 109) have a different viewfinder shaft... the shaft is compressed sideways and then folded in, and the viewfinder eyepiece is attached to the light shaft facing the lens, rather than facing the photographer... Furthermore, they have a genuine X-type flash contact. The 107 and 109 also have a 4-element lens...
