Hello, A few weeks ago, I bought 50 rolls of Kodak TriX 400 here in the pre-packaged Pro-Film format, but during my first attempts at developing them, I’ve realised that the development times for ADOX A49 are a bit too short. Are there any new data sheets available, or does anyone have any further information? The film base also has a different colour (slightly violet) compared to earlier films. Best regards, martin-mp

I’m still struggling with this problem; it seems to me that the Profilm TriX doesn’t reach 400 ISO, or rather, the development time on the instruction sheet is too short. A49 1+2, 20°C, total time 11.9 mins, but even after 14 mins, there’s still a loss of nearly one stop. Does anyone here have any experience with this?

What exactly is the difference between the standard TriX 400 and the TriX 400 Pro Film version?

One is packaged by Kodak in Kodak KB tins, the other by someone else in plain tins. It’s much the same as it used to be, only more obvious: back then, the Tura tins contained Agfa. Best regards, Franz

Well, I’ve been using this film for nearly two years now and push it to 800 (D76 1+1, 13 minutes). I’ve had absolutely no problems with it.
