Hello, Every now and then I tone baryta prints with blue toners. I’ve had quite good results using Polywarmton and Classic BLT. Which paper would you recommend as an alternative? Thanks and best regards, Astrid

Hello Astrid, I don’t have any experience with blue toners, but in principle any genuine warm-tone paper should be easy to tone. FOTOIMPEX stocks Fomatone (multigrade) and Adox Fine Print Nuance (fixed gradation: 2); otherwise, there’s also Kentona (fixed gradation: 2). I’m not familiar with Nuance, but Fomatone and Kentona tone very well. Please note: Kentmere Fineprint VC Warm Tone is not a genuine warm-tone paper; you should use Kentona for toning. It’s not listed in the catalogue, but Mirko might still have a pack or two. Best regards, Samuli
