Hallo an alle! Im Impex Katalog steht ja nun schon seit einiger Zeit, dass der CMS 20 zur Umkehrentwicklung geeignet ist, aber noch Tests durchgeführt werde...

Hello everyone! The Impex catalogue has stated for some time now that the CMS 20 is suitable for reversal processing, but that tests still need to be carried out. Has anyone tried this, for example with the Foma kit? If so, what were the results? Is the use of the special developer necessary for high resolution? Can it be combined with the Foma kit, e.g. as a primary developer instead of the one supplied? Thanks!!! Thyl

Hi, what’s the point of knowing it’s possible if you don’t actually want to do it? My suggestion would be to use the one that comes with the CMS 20 for the initial development and the rest of the process from the Foma kit. If that doesn’t work out, then use the special developer not just for the initial development, but for both. Then report back here.

What I meant to say is that I’m certainly not the best person for testing. If it goes wrong, it could be down to the procedure or my poor execution. As a former experimental molecular biologist, I’m well aware of the subtleties of such experiments ;-)) I’ve also since found out that the Foma Kit takes an hour; unfortunately, that’s not exactly short. But I’d certainly be tempted to give it a go. If I find out anything, I’ll report back here. (Gosh, where on earth has my thermometer gone...) Thyl
