Hi Mirko,
I recently bought a bunch of Solaris disposable cameras from FOTOIMPEX for a seminar at Mainz University. I’ve just been on the phone to the university’s photo lab, and they’ve never dealt with disposable cameras before and aren’t quite sure what to do with them. Is there anything in particular I need to bear in mind, or is it just a case of breaking the camera open, taking out the film roll and popping it into the developing machine?
I’d be very grateful for any advice!

Hi Samuli,
The Quicksnaps that I once broke contain a standard film cartridge.
- Wind the film all the way through
- Remove the cardboard cover
- Take out the battery (if it’s a camera with a flash)
- Take out the film cartridge – that’s it
The battery is usually still in good condition.
