Dear Community,

Ana's Photographic Kitchen has introduced a technique for developing analogue paper photograms using only edible ingredients, called Anatype(TM).

On the one hand, there is a kit with instructions for creating your own first photograms using this technique without professional darkroom equipment; furthermore, there are plans to launch a kit for schools in the future to give children the opportunity to learn about the analogue process at school.

€

I belong to a generation that grew up with analogue photography but didn’t have the opportunity to learn about it at school. So, at the age of 12, I started building my own pinhole camera with a friend – without any instructions and, ultimately, not really successfully, but we had fun :)

That’s why I think a kit like this, designed for the new generation, is a wonderful way to introduce people to analogue photography.

€

The images developed using this process are certainly always unique, making them exciting even for the experimental photographers amongst us (see attachment).

There is currently a crowdfunding campaign underway to help produce these kits. Why not take a look at the project and support it? I think it’s a wonderful way to inspire a new generation.
