As of 1 January 2007, Kodak has tripled the prices of Supra Endura and Ultra Endura.
We have been pointing out in our catalogue for some time now that the old prices were completely out of all proportion (roughly half the price of black-and-white paper).
With the current price increase, Kodak colour paper is still cheaper than it was before the start of the super-dumping in 2004 and is now roughly on a par with Fuji Crystal Archive.
The price increase was long overdue and is a step in the right direction, as without it, Kodak would probably have had to discontinue the colour paper in sheet form soon. They have already shown with the black-and-white paper that they are not one to mince their words.
At the moment, we still have 7 pallets available at the old price. However, these are predominantly glossy.
We will then gradually introduce the new paper at the new price.
Later on, there will still be the option to cut your own sheets from the roll. The rolls for minilabs are still comparatively inexpensive. As soon as our sheet stock (the old price is cheaper than the roll stock) is sold out, we will also offer roll stock.
The residues are broken down as follows:
Glossy:
13x18/100 – plenty available
18x24/100 plenty in stock
24x30/100 in stock
30x30/50 in stock
40x50/50 few in stock
50x60/50 in stock
matt:
13x18/100 sold out
18x24/100 not in our range
20x25/100 sold out
24x30/100 sold out
30x40/50 very few in stock
40x50/50 very few in stock
50x60/50 very few in stock
Best regards,
Mirko
