Hello,
Actually, the subject line says it all. I have two rolls of Ilford HP5 film that I’d like to develop using Atomal and push by two stops. Unfortunately, the Atomal instructions only list extended development times for Agfa’s own films, and for the HP5 they only give the time for standard development. As the subjects are quite important to me, I’d rather not just try things out at random. But I don’t really want to buy Ilford developer just for these two films either.
Does anyone have any idea or experience with this? Or can I calculate the extended development time from the standard development time?
Thanks in advance! =)

Hi Spark,
Agfa Atomal is roughly equivalent to A49, so it works quite well for pushing.
Pushing by 2 stops – normal development time multiplied by 1.33? Or rather, 1.77 straight away (...I did a quick calculation...)
