I’m having a bit of a problem with the Ilford paper mentioned in the title. The gradation is variable.
How should I adjust the colour head to increase the gradient? The exposure times will increase, but unfortunately I don’t know by how much. There are tables for Kaiser and Durst colour heads, but I haven’t found anything for the Meopta yet. Can anyone help me?

Hello,
In my experience, even when reference tables are available, they never really yield useful results. That’s why I always recommend personally calibrating the papers you use most often. It does take time, but you’ll make up for it in the long run, as you’ll be able to achieve the results you’re looking for much more quickly. To calibrate, you need a transparent grey scale. If you want to save yourself the effort, you’re better off using multigrade filters. But even then, you can’t avoid test strips.
Best regards,
