Thanks, Wolfgang, for your replies
There is an arrow on the protective paper that runs across the entire width:
<--------------------->
On almost all cameras, this has to line up with a mark when you close the lid. Perhaps someone else who owns the camera might have something to say.
Well, the C220 doesn’t have a mark there. I’ve just inserted the protective paper as if it were a film. I wound it forward until the arrow was between the spool and the slot where the light comes in. I closed it and wound it forward again.
Then I opened it again and checked where the film’s adhesive strip was. It worked out fine that way too :unsure:
But thanks for the tip; there were loads of arrows and markings on the ADOX... :)
With 6x6, the 50mm lens will only reproduce a section slightly larger than 35mm format cleanly; for 6x6 you definitely need a lens around 80mm and possibly a condenser as well.
OK, that explains a lot.... I was already wondering why the (desired) out-of-focus area in the image looked so odd... now I know why *g*
Yes, I’ve already fitted the appropriate mixing chamber...
Oh, one more question:
could it be that the adhesive strip used to attach the film to the backing paper glowed yellow when I peeled it off? Or did I just imagine that? The film was: Agfa APX 100
Have a nice day...
Kind regards, Martin
