...I’m really taken with it. After making a few lith prints on this paper, I don’t want to use any other. The contrast and colour (sand-brown tones, similar to Sterling Lith) are a dream – exactly as I’d imagined. Does anyone happen to have a few packs (24x30 or larger) to spare and want to sell them to me?

Hi Michel, Didn’t we still have that old Orwo in the cellar? Maybe those were the smaller sizes, up to 18x24. You’re way ahead of me when it comes to lith prints, so I can’t recommend any alternative paper. Best wishes, and see you on Wednesday, Thomas

‘Similar’, yes. Whether it’s ‘very’ similar is open to debate. The two papers have about as much in common as the Holy Father in Rome has in terms of practical experience of procreation. However, both are baryta papers and not necessarily speed-processed. Best regards, Franz

Yes, I still have some up to 18x24, also from the cellar, but that’s quite small for hanging on the wall, especially as medium format (6x6) only produces 17x17 cm prints. Well, maybe I’ll find something on eBay . @samuli I’m afraid I can’t answer your question; I haven’t been using baryta for very long. I’ve used the Orwo almost exclusively for lith prints, so I’m afraid I can’t make a comparison. A friend of mine uses Fomabrom, though, and I have to say it looks great and is easy to use for processing. He says he gets on better with it than with the Classic or ADOX he used before.
