MirkoBoeddecker The lab manager’s recommendation to kick off the season: clearance stock of TT Vario Comfort (approx. 700 packs in stock) (Identical to Ilford Multigrade IV in all respects except for the packaging and the plastic bag) Reason for clearance: Ilford no longer supplies Tetenal either :( The stock dates from the second half of 2005 (remaining stock). TT Vario Comfort 24x30cm glossy or semi-gloss (310 or 312) 50 sheets 24x30 only €29.00 net, €33.64 gross. Best regards, Mirko
Andreas_23 Ilford no longer supplies Tetenal eitherHi Mirko, What does the word "also" mean here? Best regards, Andreas
MirkoBoeddecker Ilford has taken a firm stance against continuing to sell OEM raw materials. Although it is still possible to source Ilford materials through indirect channels, it is no longer cost-effective. The purchase price plus packaging costs end up being higher than the price of a finished Ilford product. Consequently, everyone is withdrawing from packaging Ilford products. However, this does not cause us any major headaches. In return, we have secured favourable purchasing terms for genuine Ilford goods and can offer them at competitive prices. The CHM range exists solely because we achieved very good sales of ORWO films in the new federal states over the years, and when those were no longer available, we launched the CHM to build on that success. In the meantime, however, price sensitivity among photographers has (thank goodness) become somewhat less pronounced. I believe that anyone who loves the CHM for its outstanding qualities will also be willing to pay a little more for an HP5 or FP4 if the film is eventually no longer available at the old price.
