Unfortunately, our beloved Fotolaborforum has outgrown its old home.
So it’s now moved to a bigger one (its own server, with its own IP address).
This makes everything faster: search queries, uploading images, viewing images, etc.
As over 60% of our customers are now based abroad, the forum is now multilingual and there are new international forums.
To this end, we have also made the language selector accessible to guests. So, as a guest, you can now select your language straight away at the top of the homepage to go through the registration process in your own language.
The new EU domain is also intended to emphasise our international reach.
However, due to the changeover, there have been isolated login issues.
In theory, this should now work better as the forum is no longer located in a subdirectory of FOTOIMPEX. This had previously caused some cookies to become confused.
But as is often the case, the cookies that managed to slip through before are now likely to be causing confusion, or something along those lines.
We are also now using PHP 4.3.10, as older versions had security vulnerabilities.
As a result, some very old browsers (older than 2 years) are no longer compatible.
If you encounter any problems, please try the following first:
1) Delete all cookies on your hard drive that were set by the Fotolaborforum.
2) Update your browser to the latest version
3) If none of the above has worked, download the free Mozilla Firefox (www.mozilla.com) for PC & MAC.
