Hello everyone,
A few days ago I got hold of an Axomat 5 with a Color 3 head.
Unfortunately, it was just the head without the column or base plate. As I have an Axomat 4a (white with a square head),
I thought the 5 would fit my column as well. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
So here are my questions.
Is the column available as a spare part? Or does anyone have one lying around?
Are the columns for the Axomat 5 and Optemus 6 identical?
If so, how much will it cost me?
Best regards,
Michael

Michael,
Given that we can’t even sell a complete Axomat 5 for €80 at the moment, it’s hardly worth ordering a single column, as this spare part would cost more than the whole unit.
My advice would therefore be to make it fit. In theory, you’d just need to turn off a bit of the metal pin at the back or file it down neatly, and then you could glue the head in place with cold metal or epoxy.
You wouldn’t be able to project onto the wall anymore, but the Axomat isn’t particularly good for that anyway with its 100-watt lamp, and projecting onto the floor gives you a 100x100 cm image.
Best regards,
Mirko

Well, I suppose I’ll have to pop into a machine shop after all.
So I’m the only person on the planet B) who has this adapter:

It depends, of course, on how much it’ll cost me
Best regards
