Hello,
When toning with a two-bath sepia toner, I’ve been getting streaks on my prints time and again recently. It looked as though the silver or the colorant in the out-of-focus parts of the image was shifting or swirling around as the toner moved. Off the top of my head, I can only think of two explanations. Firstly, the image wasn’t fully fixed; secondly, I didn’t rinse the Bleach bath off completely and it continued to act in the toner. Does anyone have an explanation?
