I’ve really enjoyed using your Classic Eco 100 so far – not because of the price, but simply because I found it worked really well with Rodinal.
As the rumour is rife that these films are identical to the Shanghai films, I ordered a few via airmail from Taiwan (expiry date 2/2008).
I’m shocked – the things are completely scratched and have holes in the emulsion, but otherwise have the same characteristics.
When will you be getting some more in the tried-and-tested FOTOIMPEX quality, or have you suspended sales because Shanghai is proving so inconsistent in terms of manufacturing quality?
