Hello
I'm having problems with my Capital Spot light meter at close range.
Has anyone ever tried attaching a close-up lens to it?
Or is this an idea that's doomed to fail from the start?

Please note, I have misspelled 'problems'.

Using a close-up lens is quite common. The only requirement is that the light meter has a screw thread for filters and the like. The Gossen Spot Master, for example, has such a thread. These lenses are available at reasonable prices from various well-known manufacturers.

Before you invest any more money in your Capital-Beli, check just how accurate it is. In my experience and to the best of my knowledge, it isn’t suitable for precise measurements across the full range. Unfortunately, the 3–4 good ones on the market are twice as expensive.
