Unfortunately, I was told yesterday by two of your shop assistants that ADOX CHS (CHS 25, 50 and CHS 100) roll films are no longer in stock and it is not known when they will be restocked.
Mirco, could you tell me a bit more about this? I assume there are problems again with the availability of base material or protective paper?

I agree, this thread is now quite old and buried on one of the back pages.
The problem is the backing material. More on this in the relevant thread; we’ve been waiting for delivery since September. It’s linked to Agfa’s bankruptcy and the boom in flat-screen TVs (which require a similar backing material in their manufacture, one that is considerably more expensive, and so the factories aren’t producing small, unprofitable photographic orders).
Latest update: The base material is due at the end of April; the films won’t arrive until after quality checks are complete, which won’t be before June.
At the moment, everything (even the 50s) is sold out. Once all the 25s and 100s were gone, customers switched to other options.
